Pharmacological action.

PROSTAGOL — is a natural herbal raw material high-quality prostate protecting agent. PROSTAGOL effect is caused by herbal medicines, which it contains. Mechanism of action of biologically active substances relates to anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, ferment interlocking, 5α-reductase and aromatase, improvement of detrusor function, antiandrogenic and antiestrogenic actions, impact of growth factor (antiproliferative action), reduction of globulin level, which bind sex hormones.

Complex of biologically active substances that are present in great nettle (Urtica dioica) suppress prostatism, prevent inflammation processes and ease urination at prostate benign hyperplasia initial stage, and also increase urination volume, intensify urine maximum flow and reduce residual urine volume at prostate benign hyperplasia.

Pumpkin seeds (Cucurbia peрo) contain 32-40% nondrying oil, which contains a number of vitamin Е, – a natural antioxidant. Among proteins pumpkin seeds possess most of all globulin (cucurbitin), which comprises of the following amino acids: arginine, histidine, lysin, tyrosine, proline, tryptophan, asparaginic and glutaminic acids. Healing properties of wild chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) are defined by the action of water soluble flavonoid like apigenin and volatile oleiferous components like alpha-bisabolol and chamazulene. It is these substances that ensure wild chamomile spasmolytic effect. Apigenin and oils have an anti-inflammatory action, suppress phospholipase A, cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase tracts. Apigenin binds brain benzodiazepine receptors. Wild chamomile has a significant sedative and anxyolitic effect exhibited in the reduction of emotional stress, weakening of anxiety, fear and worry feeling.

Complex of biologically active substances that are present in anise fruits (Pimpinella anisum) has an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and diuretic actions, regulates anxyolitic.
