Pharmacological action.
SHIRAFZA – is a natural herbal raw material high-quality medicine, which owing to its complex impact on a female organism stimulates all lactation stages, prevents excessive weight problems with nursing mothers and glucose escape in the blood.
Shirafza effect is caused by herbal medicines, which it contains.
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) contains mixture of trans-anethol with fenchone, estragole and other components. Structural similarity of anethol and catecholamine can support estrogene activity. Dopamine has a stimulating effect on lactation; therefore anethol can lead to milk let-down by reacting with dopamine at certain receptor intervals. This results in the reduction of dopamine inhibiting action in the process of milk stimulation and let-down. Biologically active substances present in fennel define a lactogenic action with nursing mothers and eliminate meteorism symptoms, improve digestion, reduce spasms and mobility of small intestine. Caraway causes increase of mil supply and its nutritional properties. Trigonella improves blood flow in the milk gland, stimulates lactation and causes rise of milk nutrition value. Dill has a soothing and sedative action, therefore birthing mothers worry less, and anti-inflammatory action causes reduction of mastitis risk. Dill alkaloids not only increase mother milk quality and supply but, combined with other SHIRAFZA components, are transferred with mother milk preventing occurrence of meteorism and killing pain (torminas) of a nursing infant.
