Each tablet contains dry extract of pink spike roots (Cimicifuga racemosa) 6,5 mg.
Presentation: tablets No. 30.
Action.
Pink spike extract contains specific triterpenes that are similar to estrogenes (phytoestrogenes) by their chemical structure. Phytoestrogenes possess organ-selective, estrogene-like and dopaminergic properties. Owing to that pink spike extract has an estrogene-like effect on the organism that allows to use it to implement replacement therapy in case of estrogene deficit both at the pre- and menopause period and after ovariectomy.
Biologically active substances of cimicifuga have affinity to estrogene receptors in hypothalamus that leads to decrease of intestinal cell-stimulating hormone releasing factor and further decrease of intestinal cell-stimulating hormone secretion of anterior pituitary.
Reduction of gonadotropin secretion leads to removal of psychoemotional and vegetovascular disorders arising during pre-climax and climax periods and caused by a sudden decrease of estrogene generation with simultaneous rise of intestinal cell-stimulating and follicle-stimulating hormone secretion.
Cimicifuga extract causes proliferation of vagina epithelium cells but does not lead to decrease of follicle-stimulating hormone level below norm that results in the generation of own estrogenes and preservation of ovaries natural functions. Unlike synthetic estrogenes, it has no impact on proliferative processes in the endometrium and milk gland.
