Action.

GASTROPHYTOL – is a complex drug based on the medicinal plant raw material.
Owing to the action of biologically active substances being the part of common licorice, sanguinary and wild chamomile flowers extracts, GASTROPHYTOL improves digestive apparatus functioning.

Biologically active substances of COMMON LICORICE have a spasmolytic and anti-inflammatory action (due to presence of glycyrrhizic acid) that help to regenerate ulcers on the mucous coat of stomach; normalize regulation of water-salt metabolism, vessel wall permeability; possess cholynolitic and antihistaminic properties.

Biologically active substances contained in SANGUINARY have hemostatic, vulnerary, anti-inflammatory, bactericidal effects; they have a spasmolytic effect on smooth muscles of intestinal tract, urinary and biliary tracts; normalize secretomotor processes of stomach; increase bile and urina flow; tonify and regulate metabolism.

Biologically active substances of WILD CHAMOMILE normalize digestive glands secretion; they have a choleretic action; decrease fermentation processes; speed up epithelium regeneration; have anastaltic, smoothing, regenerative effects; remove enterospasms. Mechanism of wild chamomile spasmolytic action is explained by cholynolitic properties of glycosides it contains. Disinfecting and anti-inflammatory properties are defined by the presence of chamazulene in the ethereal oil.
