Recommendations for use.

CALENDIT-Е cream is used externally. Indications for use:

• surgical wounds;
• minor wounds, cuts, traumas, bruises;
• burns and cold injuries;
• bed sores;
• furunculosis;
• demodicosis;
• carbuncles;
• cervical erosion, Trichomonas colpitis;
• dermatitis (also used with diaper dermatitis from first days of life);
• prevention and treatment of cracked nipples during lactation;
• prevention and treatment of babies' dermhelminthiasis;
• treatment of persistent wounds and trophic ulcers;
• treatment of psoriasis, fungus diseases, dry tetter, neurodermatitis, seborrhea;
• sprain of ankles;
• arthritis;
• varicosity and thrombophlebitis;
• lip diseases: cracks, angular cheilosis, sloughing of lip skin, herpes;
• after shaving to prevent irritation and to speed up healing of small wounds (cuts);
• cracks of heels.

Composition: each 10 g of cream contain aqueous alcoholic extracts of fresh:

• pot marigold flowers and leaves (Calendula officinalis) — 1,0 g
• narrow-leaved echinacea grass and roots (Echinacea angustifolia) — 1,1 g

Pharmacological properties.

CALENDIT-Е — is a natural high quality herbal raw material cream.

Pot marigold when applied locally has an antiinflammatory effect, accelerates tissue regeneration processes, improves granulation quality, helps faster tissue epithelialization and formation of a delicate cicatrix; intensifies hurt area infiltration with macrophages, increases glycogen content in macrophages and            microxyphilic granulocytes. It is widely used in gynaecology praxis (for applications with cervical erosion, Trichomonas colpitis), with intestinal tract cracks, proctitis and paraproctitis.

Narrow-leaved echinacea stimulates cellular immunity, enhances skin protective properties, has an antibacterial and antiinflammatory activity, and potentiates pot marigold action. Biologically active substances of narrow-leaved echinacea help reduce the activity of hyaluronidase produced by microbes and viruses that account for its antiseptic properties.

Cream CALENDIT-Е protects skin cells from immature damage, removes irritation, and has a bactericide, disinfecting and wound-healing action. It possesses humidifying and vitaminizing properties; helps maintain flexibility and elasticity of skin.
It has a positive impact on exudative and proliferative phase of inflammation process, formation of granulation tissue and regeneration of epithelium. These accounts for high efficiency of CALENDIT-Е cream: healing effect is observed already on 3-5 day of use, and therapeutic effect on 5-7 day.
