An important feature of herbal medicines is that they get involved in human biochemical processes faster and more actively than chemical synthetic agents. A wide choice of therapeutically active ingredients in medicinal plants, possibility of their combined use, efficiency and a high safety level contribute to vast application of herbal raw material medicines.
Pharmacological action.
MASTOGOL — is a natural herbal raw material high-quality medicine. A delicate, gradual and prognosticate action of MASTOGOL enables to use it for correction of female reproductive system pathological states that requires a careful and elaborate approach. MASTOGOL action is due to an herbal medicine in contains:
Leban (Vitex angus castus) is an herbal dopaminomimetic. Leban fruits contain iridoids, flavonoids and ethereal oils that harmonize female sex hormones. Dopaminergic action of leban biologically active substances reduces mammotrophic hormone generation and removes hyperprolactinemia. Bicyclic diterpenes of leban fruits inhibit mammotrophic hormone release due to impact on hypothalamus dopamine D2-receptors. Menstrual disorder, premenstrual tension, cyclic mastalgia, mastodynia and chronic cystic mastitis often occur due to increase of mammotrophic hormone concentration or latent hyperprolactinemia. Increase of mammotrophic hormone concentration reduces gonadotropin secretion, which can result in disturbances at follicle maturation, ovulation and at yellow body functioning stage. Here a disbalance between estradiol and progesterone occurs, which causes various menstrual disorders. Leban active substances normalize the gonadotrope ratio. A rhythmic production and normalization of gonadotrope ratio at mammotrophic hormone normal levels brings in order the second menstrual stage. A disbalance between estradiol and progesterone is removed. Mammotrophic hormone has a direct stimulating effect on proliferative processes in the milk glands strengthening a connective tissue and causing mammary duct ectasia. Reduction of mammotrophic hormones leads to involution of benign fibrocystic processes in the milk glands and arrests pain syndrome at mastodynia.
MASTOGOL has a normalizing action on sex hormone level.
